A Grand Cherokee in 2000 used the "Quadra-coil" design. In other words, no leaf springs.

All XJs used leaf springs, so the answer is most definitely NO, you cannot use the rear parts off the 2000 WJ. You might be able to use the front parts for the front of your XJ - check the "Junkyard compatibility" sticky for your options there.

Most of the front end parts will fit. You can use WJ lower control arms to get a little more turning clearance for the tires if you are running larger than stock. They have a slight bow to them to clear tires on the Grand Cherokee. V8 ZJ coils are a common "upgrade" to get about 1 to 2 inches of lift in the front.
