They made the ZJ from 93-98

Does anyone know if WJ springs will fit??????

Wiki says that the zj and wj only have 127 of the same parts.

No offense man but where are you going to find a WJ in the J/Y for parts where you couldn't find a ZJ? Cause I would love to go there for parts

Default Fort Riley, Kansas!

When I was stationed in Kansas they junk yards only held stuff 10 years old unless it was a pickup, or something that was a classic, then they sold that to Easy Jack. The last year of the ZJ was a 98 so.........

I called a couple of junk yards around here and one of them had one cherokee.......I gotta keep hunting, maybe all I'll find is a WJ you know????

Oh and I'm in SoCal, land of the lifted 2wd. I actually almost had some ZJ springs the guy did his lift with new springs at the CraftShop on post, but I got there too late they already dumped the scrap metal. Everyone lifts everything here so I might find someone who is lifting thier WJ and get old springs.

So there are places that would have a WJ, that wouldn't have a ZJ.......

Do you know if WJ springs will work?

I wish i did know cause your not the first person to ask me. I was saying not being able to find a WJ in a J/Y because I would be very jealous if you did find one. If you do find a WJ in a J/Y though grab the front D30 and steering setup along with the front springs. It is a superior style over our y-link setup and is better than most after market setups as well.

Here some differences between ZJ's and WJ's. I got to work in the morn so I'll let you read through it. Post up if you find some info in there.

I found some specs on the WJ springs.

Uncompressed length - 15"
Outside diameter - 4 7/8"
Inside diameter - 3 3/4"
Coil wrap thickness - 1/2"
# of wraps - 10

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=758744

Does anyone have those kinds of specs for the xj spring?

nnoooooo.... not trying to be a smart butt... im for real... thats what i would do if i wanted to know... ive always wondered if there was a different leaf pack that would fit under the XJ and lift it up a bit... plan on going to the junk yard and measuring myself... but you probly wont find a WJ in the JY so i would go to walmart if i wanted to know... its not against the law to measure cars...
