Default Lead-Filled Trailer Hitch

The lead-filled trailer hitch listed for sale on 11/07/08 is being withdrawn. I'll list it on ebay. Apparently no one agrees with me that Cherokees are dangerously light in the rear ends. It almost killed me twice, and I never spun out again with that lead weight disguised as a trailer hitch hanging on the back. A new set of tires helped also.

My son has a 2000 Cherokee Sport for sale, but we'll list that on ebay also.

I am lost.

Cherokees are not dangerously light in the back. If they were, it would be recalled. I never spun out and i've floored it quite a few times, even on curves. You probably had crappy tires and an empty tank of gas. .

Good luck with the sale though.

Yeah doesn't make much sense does it. And if I really wanted more weight in the rear I think I would pick up a Better bumper instead of a Lead Filled Hitch...

Well old school way to get more traction was to weld a lead filled 2.5" pipe between the frame rails on drag cars in the 60s and 70s. So this is not a new idea but is not needed on a trail or multiuse Jeep.

It might seem ideal to someone who needs a hitch plus some added weight back there for traction, say in snowy climates. They have no need for buying a new bumper so this is an alternative. I see it's usefulness, just disagree that xj's are light in the rear, that's all.

Well we already read the add super CSI Horatio "mudd" Cane. Or are you more like Gil "mudd" Grissom. He also has hearing problems.

You know Grissom is leaving. He's being replaced with laurence fishbourne. Biggest WTF ever.

Yeah I doubt it will survive more than one season. Warrick is dead and Sarah is gone and Gil is leaving and being replace by a poor actor. So it is in the crapper.

I like NY too. CSI Miami just annoys me cause Horatio Cane is like SuperMan. He always says stupid things like, I'm watching you, or I'll be there. And the sunglass thing is stupid too. Besides, I like Ltn. Dan on NY. I think I stopped watching regular CSI when the furry lover episode was on, probably 2 years ago.

CSI Miami makes me want to puke in my mouth. Why don't they kill off Heratio, he's a melodramatic douche bag!!
