Default lc arm help

hey guys, i have stock lc and uc arms, im sitting on a 4.5 inch lift in the rear and need to put my front at 4.5, its sitting at 3 right now. i know that rear wj lc arms are 2 inchs longer. i kno people replace them xj lowers with those, now with that work, if i replace my lowers with the wj rear lowers will i be able to put on my 4.5 inch coils and have it ok? im not gonna wheel with them like that, just want to get my coils in soon, before i wheel ill make long arms but i dont have the money for the materials for long arms

drive-ability will surely suck, and your pinion angles will be out but it will sit there. What's going to likely happen is the coil will sit curved back and your axle will be closer to the body... Will it work? sure... Is it safe? I wouldn't get in it.

Not according to s14unimog. A tape measure might argue.

not sure what u mean

7. WJ rear LCA's = replace XJ front LCA's, 2" longer to accommodate a lift, some grinding required

taken from this thread
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/bud...herokee-58797/

it should work

The person who posted saying using longer arms would push the tires into the wheel well. I was saying he dose not agree with what you and I have said but a tape measure would disagree because if you do the math or use a little common since it works.

but, to have correct pinion and coil angles you will want longer UCA's. it will also move your axle foward and away from the body.
