Ok, I have read about the grand cherokee knuckle swap onto an XJ, and read a few write ups, all requiring machining of a spacer to work. I have seen nor found where you could nor could not just swap the entire front axle off a grand into an xj, any help would be appreciated. My recently aquired xj needs the entire fron steering system rebuilt.
the axle from a WJ is a Low pinion ie a more worthless dana 30. I'd keep the XJ knuckles and have them reamed out to fit this kit

Ok, I want to go knuckle over, but it seems there is an extreme amout of work to do it. Is there any other way besides RRO's kit or the knuckle swap.
this is a little less work to get OTK with stock end links

That kit only moves the drive side OTK. The passenger side is untouched so it's not really worth messing with. A true OTK kit will require sway bar links to be relocated. Your factory drag link cannot be used OTK so it has to be replaced or just run crossover steering.
