knocking when turning after unbolting steering box
Had to unbolt the 3 bolts on the drivers side that run into the steering box yesterday when I installed a new bumper. After bolting it back up there's a knock in the steering when coming over the center. Definitely needs an alignment now anyway, but is that something that an alignment will fix as well or am I overlooking something here?

make sure bolts are tight and nothing is hitting. unbolting and rebolting the box shouldn't change anything at all. have someone turn the wheel while you look at everything

You should not have done anything to change the alignment, somethings up (broke, busted, bent). Is the steering box securely mounted or did the fasteners pull through?

Yeah, spacers there and the box doesn't seem loose or anything. Checked and can't see anything hitting when turning. Forgot to mention the steering is really loose when turning now as well. If I take a 90* right I have to bring the steering wheel really far back left to straighten out.
