knock from engine
what is the easiest way to check the fly wheel bolts on my 99 cherokee sport 4.0L. aw4 trans.

Where the engine meets the trans there is a tin shield in the shape of a quarter moon. Remove the shield and shine a light up in there. Rotate the engine over by hand, clockwise, using a 3/4" socket on the front crank pulley until a bolt appears to you. Using a 15mm wrench, remove teh bolt. Add LocTite to the threads and reinstall it. I don't know the torque spec. I just get them as tight as I can with a long box end wrench. Rotate the engine and do the same with the next 3 bolts.
