turn key to run take a screw driver and touch it across the two wires on starter there might be sparks dont worry just cross the terminals not any other metal ..xj in park e brake on key in run position if you got a passenger sit them in drivers seat foot on brake .

Ok I think I'm going to have to give that a shot so I can get home at least and figure this out. And I'm alone so parking brake it is haha. Thanks dude I really appreciate it!!!

pick up ignition switch and replace it easy on chrylser coloumn
