Default key less entry.

So its been getting around 2 degrees the last couple days and now my keyless entry stopped working and I just replaced the batteries a month ago. And its inconvenient B/c my key doesn't work in the driver side door. So, idk its a high of 9 today so maybe somthing is frozen? I really don't know how the system works either. I've never experienced any problems with it, I just went to lock her and nothing happened. Same when I click to unlock.

if its not the batteries, it might be a connection problem, or maybe just a fuse, check all the wires for the locking components, cuz if it was just the drivers door not locking/unlocking i would say its just that actuator, but if its all of them it just might be a short somewhere.

Speaking of keyless entry. I think my Jeep had it when I bought it, but I can't remember because long ago I lost the original set of keys (and the remote if there was one) and since then had new ones cut from the dealer.

How can I tell if it's equipped with keyless entry? And if so...where to get a remote?

You can request a build sheet online for your VIN number and it will say whether your car was equipped with it from the factory or not.

anyways...let us know how it goes, and if you need more help feel free to ask
