3.5 inch lift with 33 12.50 15's and i think the yokes are coming in contact with each other because the bolts holding the the u joint in is breaking off inside the yoke

what kind of lift? if the bolts are breaking off inside the yoke your brother should do this: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/re...version-28141/

Costs like $6 max at any major auto parts store. Just make sure to use a high-quality drill bit such as a Milwaukee(my preferred and recommended brand)

If the yokes are hitting then a u-bolt swap won't help any. He needs to fix his pinion angle.

they are supposed to. if not each axle will go a different speed, virtually undriveable

did it on a stock car with no problem my eyeball got them close enough. And maybe the other guy should stop hammering on those 33's?

The pinion should be parallel with the transfercase output shaft. You can use a level and that will get it close enough(within 2-3 degrees) The best angle is to have the pinion 3-5 degrees positive compared to the t-case output shaft, because then they'll line up perfectly under load(axle wrap)

yes, but he should do that anyways. IMO its the best sub $10 upgrade you can do to any cherokee with stock axles.
