Default Just noticed this...

I was under my Cherokee today, I noticed the front axle seemed to sit about a half an inch to an inch toward the drivers side. Even standing at the front and looking down each side, the front drivers side tire sticks out of the fender well futher than the right. I have about 3.5 inches of lift in the front. The only thing I could figure out was since I didn't relocate the trackbar, it lifted the body on an angle, as opposed to perfectly straight up and down. It drives great down the road, and I dont have any issues with tire wear. Just wondered if anyone else noticed this with their lift.

Your lift requires an adjustable trac bar, or drill a new hole.

the axle was pushed away from the body by lifting the body up. now the trac bar is not long enough for the distance so it is pulling the axle toward the frame mount witch is on the drivers side.

btw Rough country Adjustable trac bar is $100

Unless RC changed the frame end of their track-bar, he is only going to want to use that style of bar if he doesnt plan on going any higher. A TRE style bar really isn't suited to any higher of a lift that 3.5". The design of it is not meant for the kind of directional motion that a trac-bar will see. The TRE is always going to be the weak point of that set-up not matter what brand it is.

I havent noticed any unusual wear in the tires, im at about 20k on them and they still have quite a bit of tread left. I think I remember seeing an article where someone tried to move the trackbar after a 3 inch lift and only could have moved it aobut a quarter inch.
