just got a hitch
hey all!!! i just picked up a trailer hitch for my 97 and i wanna use all new hardware... THE NUT STRIPS ARE A DEALER PART CORRECT? and im guessing i can get the bolts from there aswell does anyone know the size?

also you can get them from jcr and get the whole set. They will probably be cheaper that dealer parts and stronger i would think too. Plus they have other cool stuff as well.

ok when i unwrapped the hitch all the hardware was there very happy!!!! now my question is how the heel are you guys fishing the bolts into the frame and into the holes???? its driving me nuts!!!!

use a little bit of tape and tape the bolt to the wrench or put fishing line threw the hole and tie to the end of the bolt and pull threw, or use a magnet. the magnet was the hardest way for me.

Yes, where the exhaust bolts up, and if you have a factory skid (probably even if you dont) there should be nut plates all the way back.
