So today I cleaned out some of the sensors in and out of the throttle body, they were slightly dirty. Then I cleaned that dipstick ground and that was a mess covered in gunk got that shiny clean. I couldn't find the C101 connector though I sprayed and cleaned a bunch of wires to some box above the brake booster

The C101 location and the fact that it has a bolt holding it together are mentioned in my write-up...........

Maybe. Spraying the outside doesn't do any good though. Take it apart per the instructions and clean it out like it says.

Glad it's you and not me! (guess that's no fun). At least it couldn't be much easier to reach. Wonder if jobs could be rated by how many paper towels they take..."yea man..sheez, that was a two roller"

It wasn't too bad, I just hopped up on and sat on the battery to reach down to take it off, if its the C101 that I believe than it shouldn't take any real effort to get besides lifting the hood

Changing the trans fluid in my mom's grand prix. That had to be almost a 2 roller. No drain plug and an awkward shaped pan made fluid spill out of who knows where. Not to mention cleaning off the tools and your own body. Done thread jacking now

I have it on good authority that not seeing a c-101 on my 90 is what I'm suppose to not see.

And yea, you got credit for me knocking off 1/10 of an ohm at my dipstick mount in the 02 sensor thread I attempted.

Sounds like you are in the wrong place! Opposite corner from the battery by the brake booster. A big plug with a bolt through it.

No doubt! (like a saws-all job isn't done unless the blade is bent. ) I think the angels get board and do this stuff for amusement!

I think you have me way mistaken again, I was cleaning up the dipstick ground that is over there in my direction. If you read my first post to now you would know what I am talking about

Took and cleaned my C101 connector tonight. Not the dirtest I've seen but still a good amount of tar build up. Couldn't even see the white tabs in the middle part. Much cleaner now and she ran fine when I started her up, we'll just have to see if that fixed my problem but until then it's peace of mind how much I cleaned out of there. Thanks Cruiser54!

Good job. Peace of mind through remedying known problems is what it's all about.
