I have a 94 xj and sometimes when I'm driving it will just cut off. My lights and radio will stay on but my motor just dies... its completely random because sometimes it won't do it for weeks and sometimes it will do it 4 or 5 times a day. It only takes about 30 sec for my jeep to cut back on but still its annoying. Anybody have the same problem? Thank you for any and all help

Could be the crank position sensor or even the egr valve.
Run some seafoam through it and see if that helps.
My jeep used to stall out a lot and it was a bad egr. If I plugged the vaccum line with a screw it would fix it but my rpms would be high.

What you describe are classic symptoms of a failing crankshaft position sensor.
It is the most common sensor failure on the Jeep 4.0
Located on the transmission bellhousing, without the input signal from that sensor to the computer, you will NOT have spark and you will NOT have fuel going to your fuel injectors.
