I am new here so not really into the forums yet.

I have a Cherokee 2.5 Turbo Diesel, I believe the engine is made by VM.

It has just decided it is not going to start. I cranked it and it fired once then it refuses to fire. The engine is cranking fine but nothing.

It has done this twice before but on trying it again a few hours later it worked fine.

I am suspecting that is could be the fuel cutoff valve, but I am unsure, and not being able to start I cannot get it to a garage easily.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
