jeep looses power
does it happen when cold/warm/hot/both?
uphill/downhill/level?
low rpm/mid rpm/ high rpm?
does it lose power along with engine rpm or does rpm seem normal and you feel loss of power?
what year is your jeep, engine, tranny?

I don't want to hi-jack but mine does this occasionally. I'll start it up to leave and as I drive off it will lose power all the sudden for a couple seconds and then it will take off and not have any problems. I'm gonna do a tune-up on it and see if that helps. It only does it shortly after startup.

I assume you mean acceleration power..Another thing it could be is lack of fuel at initial startup which could be either fuel pump sending unit or both, bad fuel filter as well could cause a slight cold hesitation..Try something next time you start up cold..turn ignition to on till ya hear fuel pump then let it set for a sec turn off then start the truck and see if that helps..if so it's something with the fuel pump and/or sending unit...Just my thoughts anyways..
