I think there is a HUGE misconception of what death wobble actually is.
Some shaking or vibration while driving is not death wobble.
Real death wobble will shake the steering wheel out of your hand and sound and feel like the jeep is coming apart. Its not something you can keep driving with, it forces you to attempt to slow down until it goes away...sometimes even making you come to a complete stop before the vibration stops

i did my 3in lift on the ground in my brothers garage. havent got it aligned yet but no feathering or odd tire ware bt it wobbles here n there and i hv more play in steering wheel. hopefully new tires will work. or at least start there
Play in your steering is fairly simple to figure out... get under the front end and have someone turn the wheel back and forth. Whatever moves before your wheels start turning needs to be tightened or replaced. Are you sure you got your pitman arm tight? Has your power steering box broken free of it's moorings? All of these things are "loose components" and can cause Death Wobble. Also, check your drag link and track bar, they should be parallel but sometimes aren't after a lift... that's why they make a drop-pitman arm. Shouldn't be necessary with just a 3" lift, though.
death wobble adjust toe (keep mud cleaned off so it doesn't throw your tires around) tie rods, No free movement

Good that it isn't death wobble.
But the list of things I have listed in post #5 on this thread are still in play here, even if it is NOT death wobble.
