Default Jeep Help

Well I own a 89 Cherokee and it runs alright just has batter stuttering and backfire problems. I just replaced plugs wires and cap and still nothing. Ive done research and yet to find really any pen point description of whats wrong with it.

I know the PO said he upgraded the injectors to bigger but thats all I know.

Off Topic:
Guy on craigslist saleing 5 inch coil springs full leaf pack and brand new arms still in the box for $300. Worth the buy? (He has no proof saying they are 5"

Focus on getting it to run right, then worry about lifting. At 5" you'll have tons more to worry about than just the springs.

What do you mean by bigger injectors? You sure its not just 4 hole injectors? No need for bigger ones unless you have the demand for it, turbo, supercharger, etc. That could be the cause.

I would do some diagnosing, tho. Check fuel pressure. Make sure your grounds are clean and fresh.

He told me it was 4 hole spray. I have no way to test fuel pressure till this weekend. He put a cold air intake in its place and all the little vaccume lines he kinda just left sitting there.

Backfire sounds like timing.

Cap and rotor replaced? Put on incorrectly?

Timing is not adjustable. Lack of fuel due to a bad fuel pump will cause backfiring.

What did skin have to do with the fix? Busted knuckles?

Ha I ment since I put 2 and 2 together it works great now but since I have the 4 hole injectors how beneficial would it be to put them back in?
