Default Jeep frontend popping!!!!!(Read!)

Didnt happen when i had it stock but after installing a 3 inch lift kit it started making a popping turn when i turn the wheel from left to right. When i hit a pot hole it also does it then. Installed a 4.5 lift kit and replace the tie rod from the pitman because it was worn out. Muffled the popping noise abit but still made the pop noise. What the heck could it be?? Ive looked at everything on there and even the alignment guy couldnt figure out why its popping. Any ideas?

Probably a loose track bar or one of the holes for the track bar is oval instead of round

either the trackbar top/bottom or the mount it self at the top

or the tie rod touching the stabalizer bolt at the axle mount

My lower tre on the drag link was hitting my quick disconnects pin every time I turned. I had to shorten my uppers by probably 3 inches to get the right angle and rotate my axle inward and they stopped hitting after that.

The thing is that when i installed the 3 inch kit. i didn't have disconnect the tracbar or anything at all. but after the 4.5 lift kit i had to relocate the tracbar.

My guess is loose track bar mount. Southern states seems to have this more as nature's loctite seems to work better up north. Anyway, have a friend turn the wheel left and right while you sit in front of the jeep. It should be obvious after that. Don't be afraid to grab the track bar and feel the clunk to narrow it down.

I agree.

Chased a loose track bar mount for almost a year.

What is it? Four bolts? Just tighten the crap outta 'em.

Whats to loose?
