Jeep Cherokee XJ 98 Reverse lights not working
Hi Everyone,
Just bought my first second hand Jeep in Australia, and the reverse/back up lights do not come on when I put in Reverse (AUTOMATIC).
Dad and i have checked all wiring to make sure they are working, and so far they all have live feeds. Some of our wiring has different coloured wiring to what the book says.
So I am now lost on what could be the problem, we also connected wires direct and nothing happened.
Please help!!

One common cause is the NSS(Neutral Safety Switch) AKA PRNDL Switch. or Park-Neutral Switch. With a test light connected to ground do you have power at the sockets? Do you have ground? What year/model Jeep do you have?
