Jeep cherokee studers and lost power
I have an 88 jeep cherokee and it has been acting up it will start up and the car will studer/shake a little while in park and when u put it in reverse it shakes even more and when u put it in drive it will shake when u take off and it will stop shaking while accelerating and when u get to a cruzing speed like 45-55 mph and it will shake a lot the steering wheele will not move at all it's just the body that shakes ..... When I was going up a hill it start to bog out like it was ganna die is that Saposed to happen ???? I Think it's a vacuum leak ... I have replaced the cap and roader along with the spark plugs and wires ...... Plz help me

i had somewhat of a similar issue but it was just O2 sensors and the ground to my PCM. Check your motor mounts and tanny mounts. and O2 sensors. that's where i would start

With the engine off, disconnect the electrical connector to the O2 sensor (pre-cat), take a voltmeter, connect the positive lead to the connector terminal on the sensor and the negative to a ground. Start the engine. You should see 0.1 - 1.0 volts and this fluctuates as the ECU is compensating for rich and lean which occurs normally.
