Default Jeep Cherokee Sport Stock Radio, having trouble.

Ok i just brought home a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0l automatic tranny. I got it and the radio doesnt work.. i pulled it out and i saw the grounding wire wasn't in the wireing harness.. so i put it on it.. i put it back in dash and i hit the power button and i see a very dim green light that almost looks like a bar on the top left.. no sound or anything just a very very dim green light at top left.. thanks

Check the ground again. If you're not sure, take a wire with a couple clips and ground it good, then touch the frame of the radio. If it lights you need to re-locate the radio ground.

if you're ground is good, and you see dim light, maybe there is a short inside the radio.
