ok y'all my 2000 jeep cherokee sport will not start. first off the it would stall out when it warmed up and it would crank right back up. the stalling got worse as time went on then it shut off and will not start back up. i replaced the crank position sensor and it still will not start. the fuel pump is new and when i turn it on it primes the lines for a few seconds but still will not crank. there is fuel on rail. i dripped some fuel down intake and it wanted to start up. so i figure it is a fuel problem could it be the injectors or is there just not enough fuel on fuel rail. any thoughts?

You need approximately 49 psi to start your 2000 4.0 engine. Get a fuel pressure gauge on the schrader valve on the fuel rail and see if you are there....
Did you replace the fuel pump BEFORE or AFTER this symptom began? In general, it doesn't matter if you have a new fuel pump. They can and do fail more often than you might think.
