Jeep Cherokee 97-01 Odometer Cluster Compatibility
Just a quick question, I got a 97 Cherokee what has a swapped odometer dash cluster in it with the better guages, the odometer has 470k while the jeep actually has about 160k so,
Will any 97-01 odometer fit? Or are the 97-98, and 99-01 odometers dash clusters different?
-Thanks!!

AFAIK, those years are all the same. The mileage is stored in the cluster. I don't know if you can swap the individual instruments, or if the cluster is one unit, indivisible.

I replaced the instrument cluster in a 99, to avoid any hassles, I just installed the original odometer in the replacement cluster, no legal or other issues. Good luck!
