my 1999 Jeep Cherokee has gas in the cab I gave a jump last night and when I got in the car to drive home the whole car reeks of gas I had to have the windows down what could be the problem,and it's worse as I drive.

 

You have fuel leak and should stop driving it till you track it down. Start with the fuel rail where the injectors are and follow the fuel lines back to the filter, then the tank. Look for wetness and smell for gas. It will be plenty strong, the fuel lines run underneath, there are no lines in the cab area so you are probably smelling it from elsewhere.

 

A Jeep is not a "car", and Jeep is always capitalized.
