New to Jeeps...just got a 96 Cherokee Country with oil leaks!! Wondered where a guy jacks the front up to put jack stands to hold it up. Where do all these go?

jack under the axle and put your stands there tooor place the stands on the unibody/frame, if you have tall stands

for the front you can use the floor jack on the pumpkin, then for the other side use the floor jack on your LCA mount b/c when you jack it up from the pumpkin it only lifts the D side tire off the ground. then use the stands either on the axle tubes or if they will fit, where your LCA's mount to the axle at a safe height that will still give you enough room to work. or, you can jack it up and put stands on the frame rails close to the front of the vehicle. also, try and avoid stacking the jack stands on things such as wood blocks. it might seem like a good idea, but i've seen it be very unsafe.
