Default Ive got an easy one...

Can anyone give me the proper name for the piece of plastic that goes over the licence plate light assembly on the liftgate?

Additionally, link me to a website selling a chrome one?

Thanks!

Holy crap! Man, I've looked, and I'm at a loss as well.

You may have discovered the Jeep equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle.

I checked my factory service manual (1998) and could find no mention of it.

I looked on partsgeek, rockauto, and autoanything using the following trems with no luck:

Rear license light
liftgate handle
rear light housing

I don't know what the hell else you'd call it!

found something similar on ebay, but nothing for a 2001. Everything
started at 2005. Some called it a garnish. Good luck with your search.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'll keep searching around. But as far as finding a replacement I may have to stick to hunting ebay.
