its a cherokee thing

i saw all those posts about the big ball at the front bumper area was for the a/c to work.. my a/c has never worked since i bought it. the vents at the top.. defroster would kick in and thats as far as a/c or heat i had.
So after searching for vents not working, i remember some one saying they snipped it off and just plugged it up with a screw and it worked.
Well i did the same thing. Air blows now through the vents..

now theres a T in that line and it goes to some small tubed conector.. whats that small tube connection for?

you dont need the tank it just makes things work smoother

The "T" fitting near the battery is for a factory-installed cruise control servo. If you don't have cruise and are not running the vac-reservoir, you can eliminate that entire length of tubing.
Myself, I would locate a small coffee-can vac reservoir from a Ford in the corner by the blower motor.
