my radiator reservoir keeps on cracking every once in a while... i have gone through about 5 to 6 or these things. is there a reason wh this keeps happening or is it just a common thing to go out on these jeeps. i have a 1990 cherokee 4.0

Too much system pressure. Replace the cap with a quality one (best would be from the dealer) it will vent-off pressure at the correct PSI.

dont fill the tank up with water!
use 50/50 premix

it may be cracking from the water freezing...

perhaps?
