I bought the cup-shaped thing called the Cure, thinking that every little bit helps in getting some play out of the steering.
The instructions say it goes on "drag link tie rod end" In the service manual, that is the tie rod end at the right side spindle. That sound correct ? Who ever designed this steering system should go to jail !!
Anyway, I have a new track bar, and a nice like-new bracket for it on the frame. The steering is almost dangerous, with the amount of play it has. Rebuilt steering gearboxes are a waste of money I found. the one I bought had to be adjusted a few times to make it work..
Getting the steering to work right will sure make this a nicer driving vehicle.....:

I don't have the cure and my steering has no play... Check every single front suspension part for play and make sure the alignment is good, toe makes a very big difference in how the steering feels. Sway bar bushings and links also make the steering feel sloppy, especially at highway speeds. Mine had a good three inches or so of play but replacing the track bar, sway bar hardware, shocks and buying a "new" steering box (yes I had to adjust it) got the play down to 1/2 inch, if that.
