Default Support the search for the cure for Jeep cancer!

*Sniff* my beloved Jeep was just diagnosed this afternoon, whilst giving it a thorough washing and checkup, with Jeep cancer. Yes, I found rust on the driver and passenger side rockers (all the way through), the bottoms of the door skins and at the top of the driver's side A pillar. My heart sank because this is an otherwise pristine Jeep (at least for MN). I'm not sure what to do. I think I can grind off the rust on the A pillar and door skins but the rockers are rusted all the way through. Do I just keep washing and waxing the rest and dedicate it to a trail rig when it finally rusts into a pile or should I tear into it and fix it all. I don't have a welder nor any way to shape sheet metal. What's your thoughts?

Side note: I know real cancer isn't anything to joke about. It is serious and deadly and I have many friends/family who have lost their health or lives to cancer. I hope nobody was offended by my joking about Jeep cancer.

yes but it is way easier to fix on a jeep. especially if u have a welder. if not bring it someplace and have them weld in some new metal. or cut the rockers off and build some killer rock sliders that take the place of the rockers. the possibilities are endless... kinda

would it be worth my time to cut/grind off all the rust under there and then zinc prime and pop rivet some heavy galvanized sheet metal down there? Or will it just continue to rust everywhere else?
