Hi all,

I have the 1997 Cherokee Limited.

I have some issues with my front fogs.
At first, I thought it was just a blown bulb, but upon inspection, both were in good condition.
I then looked toward the centre console, where I discovered that the front fog light switch doesn't even light up when the headlights are turned on (my rear fog switch does).
I'm not particularly good with electrics, but do really need to get my fogs working.

Any help on how to get this problem fixed or where to get started, would be much appreciated.

 

My first guess is always the switch.
They like to melt in there.

If you had a meter I would tell you to probe the purple wire for power in the connector.
That wire is what makes the little indicator light go on.
Figure there is a chance it might not be the switch.
Cause it could be a relay or fuse too.
I want to say the fuse in the PDC is here but don't quote me on that.

And just so you know there is aftermarket support for that switch. Looks just like the original so......
