I can attempt to do a write up when I do mine here soon. Would be for the early models only though. I have a half way decent write up (and I mean half way) on the later models already.

IDGAXJ does a nice video on it on YouTube for the 97 and newer. It's broken into several parts. I used it when I did mine and it was very well done.

maybe have a second person (helper) also document the process with good photos for a step by step.
I've heard/read it's a long involved process b/c essentially everything has to come out to get at it....but man would that be a great step by step with good photos, especially if there are some bits that only come out/in a certain way. It could save many headaches for people down the road.
