Correct me if I'm wrong here, but is this your old XJ Andy? I was browsing for 2 door XJs today on autotrader and found this truck, looks to be exactly the same as yours. If it isn't yours than somebody's got very similar taste, haha...

They were made from 3/16" formed plate, I bent them on a cnc brake and they welded fully to the pinch seam and door bend. It stiffened the whole body and made a killer rocker. not to mention they looked kinda nice. only problem is it took so much time to make and install, no doors were going back on and I only made 2. I am getting another 2 door in the next few weeks for product development. I am working on a 3"-8" lift long arm system that tucks way clean, and is simple and inexpensive.

yeah it is for sale in Charlotte. The guy that bought it from me covered it in truck bed liner and beat the crap out of it. I sold the axle train, high steering, tires and a few other goodies off of it and then sold it to him. I Had to liquidate my asset.

That was a nice jeep man. You did an excellent job building it. If I had the $$ I'd buy it now.

sadly It has been used pretty hard and not really maintained really well since it left my ownership. It came back a few times for a few little jobs, I set up radius arms on it and an over the top steering setup. It too tall for what it is.
Honestly you could probably get it for pretty cheap if you traded out something the guy loves to trade for something new and interesting.
