Default Intermittent wipers

The intermittent wiper function on my 91 Cherokee 4X4 has stopped working. The regular wipers still work. Is there a relay in the system that controls the intermittent function?

Thanks for any help,
wipearl

should be a control box under dash on drivers side . as i recall it may be held on with velcro , and is black. Kinda pricey, but nice to have

There is a used unit up for auction on eBay:

There are alot more, the most expensive one is like $25 (not including shipping)

Team Cherokee has new ones for a whopping $99

The module is located under dash, below steering colum.
It is most often velcroed to the inside of the lower dash panel.

This is correct. It is located under the steering wheel, velcroed onto the lower dash panel. Depending on the year, there's a HVAC vent right next to it.

It is rectangular, black, and has two flat white connectors; one on each side.

I was having the same problem. My intermittent wipers worked intermittently. Not sure if this was the problem or not, I went to the junkyard, and just told him it was a "relay". 5 dollars later, I plugged it in, and it fixed the problem. It was a 5 dollar gamble, so if it ended up not working, I wouldn't be out much.

I lost the int. wiper and washer function in my 91. It ended up being the switch in the steering column. I hope you luck out with the int. box from under the dash fixing yours.

Not sure about a 2000. The module is attached to the part of my steering column that is under the dash in my 91.
