Default Intermittent problem

I have a 1998 Cherokee and it will not start unless I disconnect the positive battery lead for a few minutes, then reconnect it? It did this a few times in the past but it has happened 4 times in the last week. I just tested, cleaned, and re-terminated all ground connections.

Any ideas if this does not work?

Recheck the battery cable and give them a bend if you hear them cracking the more then likely need to be replaced. I had my neg. cable get corroded inside the jacket and once replaced all was fine. Give that a try and let us know and we can go from there.
