Intermitent Blower Motor on 01 XJ Sport
After a lot of searching and reading I have managed to rule out the blower motor resistor (since it does not work on 4). Checked all fuses, vacuum canister behind passenger side bumper, and tapped on the switch. Wonder what I should check next or start replacing.
It was working fine on my way home then just stopped blowing. About 5-10 minutes later it started back up. Took the jeep for a spin later on and the blower never did come on. Make me think its a switch or blower motor problem. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Have you checked the blower motor it self? Just run a wire from the positive side of the battery to the pos on the blower motor and do the same for the neg side. At least that will rule out the motor. While you are doing that you can check the contacts to the blower and make sure that they are clean.

Got in the jeep to drive it home after work today and the blower was working again. Going to be hard to diagnose it when its not always broken. Smh

If the problem comes and goes I would say that you have a bad connection. I would check all of the elect connection that are related to the blower and make sure that they are clean and tight.

Sounds like blower motor/connection to it issue .Next time it stops tap the motor with switch on see if it starts if so replace it.
