Default installing tow hook brackets!

finally found some at the local yard but now the bumper brackets dont seem to want to clear it...any suggestions???

Did you get some from the same style as yours? Like pre or post 96? Not sure if that would matter but Idk what else unless you have them on the wrong side or something

they were from a 98...all the holes line up perfect but where the bumper brackets bolt to the frame(where the brackets go between) its off by like 1/8 on each side maybe??? no pics today maybe some tomorrow if i can figure out how to do it from my phone

thats weird, i scored some stock bumpers to replace my glaval ones since im going to be hitting the trails, and the stock bumpers i pulled from a 91, and had the stock tow hook brackets, but no hooks.

I ran to harbor freight and got hooks for like 8 bucks each, and they lined right up with the factory holes.

maybe try that route? just weird they are off like that.

EDIT: whoops see they fit with the holes.. not sure on the other yet, gotta think about that..

You gotta bend the bumper bracket. Put some weight behind it andyou should be good. Worked fine for me

Thanks for all the replies. Ill try to install the brackets then the bumper brackets and then ill bolt the bumper to that
