Default installing a tcase drop, got a question.

Well I finally decided to get rid of the vibs iv been getting, by getting a tcase drop. but i was reading a bit on them and read a couple articals about a linkage drop, will i be fine without one? most of the posts i read that said they needed a linkage drop they all had 5 speeds. so will i be fine?

You don't need a "linkage drop" for a 1" T-case drop... you will just have to adjust the shifter linkage after the drop... i haven't yet and it pops out of 2nd gear once and a while, otherwise the shifter is closer to the floor a little...

After 25 plus years and 5 jeeps I have not heard of this either. But then I have never had a Manual shift Jeep. Since you also have a Autotranny, doubt you'll have the issue. You might have tho adjust the transfer case linkage, Haynes manual is good for that.
