Installed new hitch! Now I need taillight wiring.

After installing my (now) shiny new stock hitch (with nutstrips) on my '92 XJ, I need to add the wiring harness for my utility trailer. Do I just tap into the tail light wires by removing the left/right lights and crimping on the harness?

Anyone know the color codes? Stop/R/L/Running? Its going to be a standard flat 4 wire harness.

Google just throws me to eBay mostly for buying a harness. I can pick it up at Wally World for 11 bux.

Hey Man,

I just installed mine a couple of weeks ago. Spend a couple of extra bucks and get the plug-in style. I picked the wiring kit up from Napa, honestly can't remember how much it was but wanna say $45 (i'm sure they are cheaper on ebay). You remove the rear drivers side interior panel and plug the harness into the existing tail light clip...seriously took 10 mins.
