Bought a 3" RC series 2 lift....installed it "all by myself" ( 1st time lifter)
Front went in MUCH easier than expected....rear......GRRRRR
each upper shock mount just HAD to break a bolt!!!!! and that drivers side rear!!!! All I can say is thank God for fishing line!!!!
With all of it said and done....and a week of close-by driving the front is standing tall and proud ( for a 3") but the end looks a lil droopy...and with installing full spring packs I would have expected it to sit high in the rear until the leafs settled....is this normal???? Or did I get a set of lemon leaf packs?
Thanks in advance...Scott

The full leafs on mine did that in the back but its normal. What is up with the fishing line? What did you use that for?

prob to fish new bolts through the top he prob fished it up through the shock mount hole, and the tied the bolt to it and pulled it through the hole, thats my guess

i know that front spring sit pretty high until they settle mine were like almost 5" when i installed the springs in the front but i put in new isolaters which probably made them sit that high but i would say you should be ok but only time will tell also make sure your front spring are seated correctly in the pocket they are grooved to accept the spring if it aint right it could sit higher

I added 2" tapered lift blocks to the rear of mine to compensate for spring sag & the look, now the rear is about 1" higher than the rear

yeah i used a magnet to do mine, the cheap harbor freight magnets on the pointer stick, and it took like 30 seconds. To bad i didnt try that before spending a couple hours trying to feed it through with my fingers
