ok ive been reading tons and tons of articles on doing injector swaps. and all the articles are suggesting injectors from cryslers to fords. #24, #19, blue, orange, yellow injectors... i have a 98' XJ 4.0L... which injectors do i get?? looking for a straight answer, part numbers will be great!! and what year make and models i can pull these from... thanks in advance...

The better alternatives are in house injectors, Neon 2.0L 95-96 have 238cc (22.6 lb) injectors in it, 0280155703 (OEM 5277739).


These are EV6 4 hole injectors with clip nut. Better fuel economy, better throttle response, better power.
The disadvantage is that you'll need to take these out of two cars.

ok went to my local JY and pulled out injectors from 2 neons. one a late 95 and a mid 96. the part numbers on these injectors are.....

OEM-4669011
280150965.

not the ones mentioned on the reply. WILL THESE INJECTORS STILL WORK FOR THE SWAP???????

 

How about for an 89 4.0? What is the part # for the the injectors on these. All I read including the link posted above is info overload. I'm planning on buying new injectors
