did you test them to make sure they were good? also your computer is going to have to adjust to them over time... disconnect your battery over night and hook it back up the next day... or you can touch the negative and positive battery terminals together OFF the battery and itll reset it... well its said to anyways... mine did...

if you dont know how to test them... leave the injectors connected to the fuel rail... hook everything else up... bump the starter... if one start pissing fuel then its stuck and bad... could be cleaned probly but depends... they should not leak anything with pressure on...

no i did not test them but after i put them in the jeep started right up and none of the injectors were leaking anywhere...i know that the computer is going to adjust to them i think it is something like 50 start ups i read somewhere..thats why i figured it sounds like its going to stall but not sure

no not leaks from the rubber seals... internal leaks.... like fuel SHOULD NOT spray form the injector...

no leaks coming from the fuel rail where the injector goes in and no leaks where the injector goes into the intake

im not sure mine is a 96 h.o. but i think my buddy already put them in his 88 non h.o.

ok so i just took the jeep for a ride around town really quick and realized that it didnt sound like it was going to stall...i have a leak in my tail pipe i replaced last week.

Did you clean the injectors at all before installing them? and also you can disconnect your battery and try to turn ur headlights on to reset ur computer or you can leave it unhooked for 5 minutes...just an fyi

those of you asking if they fit you cherokee.... search for it... theres like a 40 page thread on if it will or not... then several small ones like this... we dont need another one turning into that...

If I knew the thread I would put a link to it here.

You want the Ford yellow or orange top injector. You can use the stock Mustang or Explorer V8. The Explorer injectors are preferred.

I thought with those you had to have a fuel pump with more psi? Or since his is a 96 they'd work.. I dunno. I wanna do this Neon Injector swap, but now Im having second thoughts.

X2 I bet one of the injectors is bad or dirty,mine started right up with no issues
