Or you could start with the basics, try giving it a tune up (plugs, wires, cap and rotor). Then buy/make an intake for it. A muffler will help a bit. Then worry about a chip as it wont do much for you if everything else is not in working order.

Edit: looked at the link. All that chip is going to do is dump more fuel, I highly doubt you will see any performance gain from it. Looks like an overpriced MAP tuner.

Tell us a little about your XJ, year, lift, tires, motor, tranny, gearing. There are sure to be better options. Have not heard much good results from chips.

I have heard good things about the edge trail jammer system. Nothing in life is free but save your pennies and getting something that works is usually a no brainer.

Like TRS80 said though I would look at tuning up your jeep because you won't see much benefit from mods like chips and CAI if your jeep runs like dog doo doo.

Are your looking for DD power or off-road power, because they are 2 very different things. In one case you want power on the bottom end in the other at the top end.

Well, to assist with your "lack of power", aside from PM and tune-up.. RE-gearing would probably be one of the cheaper options.
