Make a video of what? I never told you that your truck won't die if you took the battery out. My point is clear, end of arguement, period. And as far as my "funny" voice, eh, I was being a dick in making the video so I was having some fun with it.

LOL, what plot? You are attempting to prove me wrong but you haven't I have stated that some cars have fail safes to save the Alternator from frying so showing me a jeep that dies after disconnecting the battery means nothing, again and I repeat, I never told you that you were wrong, period. This whole thing started because you told me I was wrong, which in fact I have proven that I was not. It is obvious to me that I can't get you to understand that the alternator runs the car or truck when it is runnning and the three jobs a battery is there for is to supply power to start to car/truck, to run accessories when the car/truck is off and to act as a capacitor when there is high demand from the accessories. This thread has gone from a learning excersize to a pissing contest in which I will back out of, I am done with this thread. I hope the best to the OP which hasn't posted any updates, I hope he took it to a shop for proper Diag and I hope that his problem was fixed, I hope that before this became a pissing contest that we were able to help him out.

I think we just experienced a bonding moment, the internet forum punches have been thrown, and now they're best friends.
Glad you guys could settle things

Op has been working and helping me trim a 01 xj I have been keeping him updated , his problem is not fixed, he doesn't have the $ to bring it to a shop, as much as I love learning what years run without a battery and which ones don't (I don't know what I would have done with out that info) but would you please keep it just a little bit on topic... btw his jeep accelerates like normal if he floors it
