good chance that your underhood wiring is fried too. water + electricity = bad. hot water + electricity = just as bad. if it was just a couple of blocks, should have walked or pushed... i pushed my jeep 2 miles down dirt roads once because of a blown rad hose... live and learn.
btw, it took me forever to push it...

just thought id add in there was no loss of oil pressure....
and ya im a fck idiot, a 20$ item turned into a pain in the ***....
but like i was saying, when i go through the starter fuse and "hot wire" it the jeep runs fine(no i did not let it run too long with no coolant in it), no bucking, perfect idle....
i should also note that before all this happened on the regular if my jeep didnt start in park i would have to either start my jeep in neutral or if that didnt work i would have to go under the hood and play with the starter fuse

anywho back on subject.
assuming the hose exploded, and hot coolant (mainly water from what you told us) i would check every fuse and relay and the wire harness for melted/shorted wires.

Iz not really a fuse...I think you are jumping power to the starter solonoid.
Automatic? If you hold the key over, and jiggle the shifter in park or neutral and it starts, it's your NSS. http://bc4x4.com/tech/2010/jeep-neut...ty-switch-nss/
The NSS grounds the starter relay, so when you fire power from the ign. switch it can get through there to the solonoid terminal.
Normally you want to run 50/50, water and antifreeze. You might have gotten lucky...here it takes like three days of sub-freezing to kill a block. Smaller things will be ruined sooner of course. Water transfers heat better then ethylene glycol, I guess is why we don't run it straight.
