Ignition Switch Adjustment
I started my jeep today and had no radio, turn signals, or accessories in general--definitely the ignition switch. I replaced the switch two years ago with the one from my junker '89 and have forgotten how to adjust the switch. It is a 1990 model.
So, does anyone on here have a diagram showing how to do this? Haynes manuals have them, but I'm away from home right now.

Here. It slides up or down the column. Did you repair the connector?
Ever improve the instrument panel ground?

HA! I just looked through your technical pictures and found those. Yes, I upgraded the ground when I replaced the I-switch last time. I think I'm starting to remember how to do it. Set the switch to the second detent then turn the key to lock?

To help anyone who may come across this in the future, here's what you will need for the job:
- #2 Phillips screwdriver
- Ratchet with 15mm deep-well socket and 2" extension
- 8mm combo wrench
- 3/8" combo wrench
- 1/4" drive ratchet with a socket in both 8mm and 3/8"
- An office chair with the backrest removed helps you lay under the dash
- Beer
