Ignition switch...
Hey would it be possible to pull out the brown wire connector deal, clean it up splice and put it back in??

Use a safety pin through the front of the plug to push down the small metal tang that keeps the wire clipped into the plastic housing. Its fairly simply to de-pin a plug so it should be fairly easy.

Cool thanks! That did the trick, but I used a small flathead screw driver...ended up cracking the blue connector!!! It was kinda fragile from where it was burnt!!

Oh another question...On the new ignition switch, is that blue deal supposed to come out or is it supposed to stay in???
