Default Ignition question/problem

Very new to the jeep world and needing help as I can't find the solution anywhere.

When I put my key in the ignition to turn it on, it turns over fine. But when I turn it off to take the key out, the key doesn't always turn back to it's "normal" placement (one click from accessory). It does this about 95% of the time, other times the key can move freely between all possible selections.

Make sure to kinda push inwards on the key while turning, but above all make sure you are 100% in park - when this happens just push hard against the shift lever all the way forward. 99% of the time that does the trick. My wife's jeep does this and that's how she fixes it every time.

Wow, thanks! Didn't realize it was that simple to push it all the way into park to get it to work. Thanks again!
