ignition problems help!!!!!!
Ok so recently picked up a 1990 xj and for some reason previous owner was using screw driver to start and I noticed that even when jeep wasn't running that the radio would turn on turn signals worked and heater would still blow and rear wiper still worked so I replaced the ignition lock cylinder and for some reason the key would not turn all the way off I checked by the linkage from the cylinder and there was a little white plastic ball stopping the key from turning all the way off I messed around with it and got it to go up and the key will now turn all the way off but everything still stays on any ideas guys i'm at a loss please help me out

Loosen the two mounting bolts and slide it up or down the column as needed to get all your ignition switch positions.
